Dear Parishioners:
We are in the most spiritual time of the church year, That of Great Lent in preparation of Holy Week and Easter. It has been an awakening to see parishioners offer their help with the festival and families who do not live in the area become stewards to help our church. I believe that there is a concern about the future of our parish and many of our parishioners are worried especially about our financial situation.
I believe that our stewards really care about their community and its future. During this very important and spiritual time of our church year, I ask all our stewards to please reach out and consider helping our church. We need so much and all of us have something to offer to our parish. If not monetary, then offer your serves and help at church functions. Allow your faith and belief in your church show that you want to help. If you can increase your pledge for your stewardship please do so.
We
need to be active in our faith so we can receive God’s love and his blessing to
help sustain us during these difficult times. Our youth need to be active in Sunday school and in the sacramental life
of the church. Let Great Lent be a time
to rekindle the spirit of love for your faith. I hope you and your love ones
come and be part of the worship serves during lent.
I
pray you will do all you can for your church and let this Great Lenten period
of time be your return to your belief and faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I hope to see you and your love ones participation in the life of the church.
Faithfully;
Fr. Harry
