Festival News!
118 Day’s to go from March 1st to our Festival.
Years ago we held our Grecian Festival first
and foremost for the enjoyment it brought to our family, friends and community.
The secondary purpose of our Festival was to help defray the operating costs of
our Church. Times have changed. Now, we cannot survive without a major
fund-raising event like our Grecian Festival.
Evangelos Roumbakis and Phil Stathas have volunteered to co-chair this year's Grecian Festival. Like the many years before, we are
relying on those faithful and dedicated parishioners to once again step-up and
chair one of the available committees. This is the year that we need to bring
in our youth who will take over for us in the future years and hopefully
restore the splendor of the Grecian festival to what we originally experienced
so many years ago.
This year's Grecian festival will take place on Saturday, June
26th. We
have much to accomplish but with little time. Festival meetings are being
coordinated each month. The meeting dates for the month of March are:
· March 9th @
6:30 PM (snow day of March 11th)
· March 23rd @
6:30 PM (snow day of March 24th)
Please plan to join us for
these meetings. Reach out to Evangelos or Phil to offer your services. Below
are the list of positions that require a Chairperson. Get involved and let's
get back to the days and ways of past.
